Her “Nichinichikokoku (Moment by Moment)” series began with encounters with over one hundred different kinds of sumi ink.
Entrusting her thoughts to each distinct shade of ink, she approaches the material anew, creating works that emerge from this process.

These pieces are drawn by attuning to the pulse, breath, and rhythm felt from within the body.
We invite you to experience the interplay and rhythm created by the unique qualities and tones of sumi ink, and to view the works in harmony with your own breath.
