Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, College of Art, Nihon University in 1996.
In 1999, graduated from Parsons School of Design (now The New School), earning a BFA.
After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, she transferred to the Fine Art program at Parsons School of Design, where she studied contemporary art for three years and obtained her bachelor’s degree. She later worked as an art staff member in the pediatric ward of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, providing art instruction to children, and held two solo exhibitions at 450 Broadway Gallery in New York. She returned to Japan in 2001.
Since then, she has held solo exhibitions in various locations, and her works have been exhibited in a wide range of spaces including nursing homes, resort hotels, and hospitals. She has also been active in teaching painting at care facilities and conducting art workshops for children.
In recent years, she has also been engaged in creating digital artworks.
Her main body of work consists of vividly colored abstract paintings.
The theme of this exhibition is “Moisture.”
