Born in 1976.
Spent her elementary school years in Singapore, junior high in Chiba, and high school in the United States.
1994 Entered the Japanese Painting Course, School of Art and Design, University of Tsukuba
1998 Received the University of Tsukuba Art Award at the Graduation Exhibition
1999 Entered the Master’s Program, Graduate School of Art, specializing in Japanese painting
Since then, she has presented extensively in solo and group exhibitions.

She has also collaborated with companies such as Calbee, created packaging for the long-established confectionery shop Kaiundo in Nagano, and produced works for Hyatt Centric Kanazawa.

Kurihara expresses the colors found in nature, along with the charm of diverse forms and patterns, using traditional materials of Japanese painting.
