優しい色使いとタッチで木々や花々、またそれらを暖かく包む陽の光を表現している横田氏。作家として様々なギャラリーや日本橋三越や新宿伊勢丹などのデパートで個展をするなど、作家として活躍しながら、栃木県佐野市にて子供向け絵画教室「ミンナノアトリエ」を開き、先生としても活動しています。見る人の心を和らげ、ふっと暖かくしてくれるような優しい作品達をお楽しみください。

“In my creative process, I seek the brightness of flowers, the sunlight, and the scent of trees. These elements soothe and embrace me. Just as one breathes deeply when immersed in the depth of a forest, I hope a fresh, blue breeze will also blow through the hearts of those who view my work.“

Yokota expresses trees, flowers, and the warm sunlight that gently envelops them through soft colors and delicate brushwork. As an artist, she has held solo exhibitions at various galleries and department stores such as Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi and Shinjuku Isetan. In addition to her work as an artist, she runs a children’s art class called “Minna no Atelier” in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, where she also works as an instructor.
